Larger packages
Billigbyg arranges delivery using a freight system. Standard items will in general be delivered at the latest 8 days after an order is placed.
The delivery time for special goods is 6 -10 weeks.
However, if the order includes both standard and custom made items, they are delivered together.
If you want standard goods to be delivered earlier, please submit 2 orders.
Packing
Small packages will normally be packed and dispatched using the Danish postal service. Larger goods are packed on pallets for dispatch using the freight systems. Standard and custom made items are sent together.
The right to annul a contract
There is a 14 day right to return goods, starting from the day they are received. If you wish to return the goods, return them in the same condition and quantity as you received. When the goods are received in return and have been approved, the purchase price is refunded to your account within a few days. You cover the costs of the return. For more details - see under "Guarantee claims and returning goods" below. This only applies to standard items. Custom made items cannot be returned.
Guarantee claims
Billigbyg provides a 2 year guarantee in accordance with the Sales of Goods Act, which covers manufacturing and material defects revealed during normal use of the item. The guarantee does not cover faults, damage or wear, directly or indirectly as a result of incorrect operation, inadequate maintenance, violence or unauthorized service. Billigbyg should be notified of guarantee claims relating to faults and defects which should have been discovered during normal inspection of the goods, within a reasonable period of time. Guarantee claims can are resolved by the goods being returned for repair, being exchanged or (where agreed in advance) the customer being credited the purchase amount. Billigbyg covers reasonable return costs This does not however apply to custom made goods.
Billigbyg has the right to rectify special goods, where a guarantee claim is raised. Special goods have an extended guarantee of 2 years (see the material description for each product group). In each product group, you can buy extended guarantees of 5 and 10 years.

Returned goods are sent to our outsourced warehousing solution: Vestvej 2, Fjeldstrup, 6100 Haderslev, Denmark - note that we do not receive cash on delivery packages. Goods can also be returned by refusing delivery or by delivering goods personally to our premises. It is not a requirement, but handling is made easier and quicker where sufficient information is enclosed with the package. For example a copy of the order confirmation, registration number and account number of the bank account where a refund can be paid and a copy of any prior correspondence etc.
Refund
A complete or partial refund of the purchase amount will be made for agreed discounts, returned goods or prepaid goods which are cancelled before despatch. Refunds are always made by bank transfer and Billigbyg therefore needs to know the registration number and account number of your bank account. This information is not sensitive and can be included in emails or other conventional correspondence.
Responsibility and language for website and service
Billigbyg cannot guarantee that the website does not contain errors or that it always is available. Contracts with Billigbyg can only be entered into in Danish.
Handling costs
In addition to the goods price, a charge is levied to cover handling, packing and dispatch. The charge varies and depends on package weight. A price cannot therefore be given before the contents are known. We have however strived to make costs as visible as possible. The updated costs are therefore continuously shown in the shopping trolley. If you therefore want to find out the exact price for transport, just put the relevant goods into the shopping cart. This is not binding, as you can remove one or more goods from the shopping trolley or cancel the purchase. The purchase is made when you move further through the purchasing process and end by making a payment.
Freight charges are calculated based on the weight of the goods. The charge is displayed when you add the goods to the shopping basket.
